“Great location, lots of flaws”

We stayed here on the weekend of Cinco de Mayo. The city was filled with Mexican travelers, the President of Mexico and many VIPS, and hundreds of police and military toting automatic weapons. The hotel is accessed off a three-story glass covered walkway or gallery (think Paris or Rome). Liked the Service After spending hours looking for a hotel, we booked La Alhondiga through some fluke in their expedia system and they ended up overbooked. Still, compared to a lot of the hotels we called and/or visited, the people were very helpful and managed to work the situation out, though we had to change rooms after the first night... More
