This hotel is literally 50m away from the main plaza. Other reviews say that it is noisy (yes, it is, but that's what you get from being in the centre of town), and that it has small rooms (we might have been lucky, but our 'double' room had 2 double beds, a huge bathroom, and plenty of space). It was... More

Very close to Catedral and Zocalo (one block or less). The Catedral bells do ring quite a bit in the morning (esp. Sunday and Monday), so be aware if you sleep lightly (this will likely be the case for any hotel near the Catedral). Mostly, the hotel rooms are quiet (except for some construction in an expansion in back on... More

Hotel Puebla Plaza is located just off Zocalo in the center of Puebla, MX. The building is delightful and the room was amazingly large. The staff was helpful and the stay was pleasant. The price was also excellent. I recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Puebla. More

They were working and there was vermin (cockroaches) in our room. Fortunately it was only for one night. Only asset is its excellent location. More

The staff was totally unfriendly from the moment we walked in the door. The room was the tiniest I have ever slept in. There was no window nor ventilation. The television did not work. We asked repeatedly for glasses for brushing our teeth and were finally given some plastic shot glasses. These mini-glasses were removed by the maid the second... More

I think this hotel was lovely. We stayed here for 1 night on a group tour. Our room wasn't huge, but big enough to have room with 2 large suitcases. We had a room up on the 2nd floor with a balcony facing the main street, which is quite noisy, however quietens down later at night. The location of this... More

I liked this place because it was clean, cheap and convient. The street running next to the hotel can get noisy but this is otherwise a very nice place to stay in Puebla. More

I read other reviews about the size of rooms in this hotel, but didn't listen. I should have listened and paid for a suite rather than a double room. The room was tiny. We stayed in a similarly priced hotel in Mexico City and had much more space. We had difficulty fitting our suitcases in the room and finding places... More

The biggest problem I have with this hotel is the rooms. They are a little small which is noticeable if you have a lot of luggage with you. The rooms facing the main courtyard can be noisier than those in the back of the hotel as the echoes of people coming and going are noticeable. Otherwise the hotel is an... More

My husband and father and I stayed here for two nights. I was completely impressed. The front desk staff was very helpful and professional, their attentiveness and overall demeanor made me feel like I was at a 5-star hotel. The building is a former luxury residence, 300 years old but recently renovated, so it has that colonial charm but is... More
