hey, actually I just planned to stay one night in Puerto Escondido....but I really loved this place and decided to spend there almost a week...especially the chilled hostel. It has such a nice atmosphere. The pool is perfect just to cool down a bit on hot day. If this is not enough, you can walk to the beach within 15... More

If you are looking for a real backpacker hostel to meet people from all over the world the Tower bridge is a nice place to stay. We are 4 travellers and stayed there for one week- Steve, the owner is really funny but if you try to call there or if the internet isn`t working you can`t count on him-... More

The other reviews on trip advisor are pretty accurate about the way this place is run. It's pretty chaotic and don't expect hotel style treatment. Its a real hostel environment so if you come prepared to make friends you will have a really good time here. I am not the most fussy of people but I found my room to... More

Gahh, where to start? We came here after reading reviews on hostelworld (I think) and finding out it was £5/night. On arrival we dumped our bags in reception and waited for someone to attend to us. There were a group of lads by the pool but no one paid us any attention. After a couple of minutes I approached the... More

Oh god! Where can we start. This is the worst hostel we have been at since we started traveling the world. The location is a heat stroke filled walk from the beach. I did not see one person clean my entire stay. My stay was meant to be several nights, but we turked it after the first night. All the... More

The hostel itself is awesome and increadably cheap, my friend and I shared a MASSIVE double room with two big double beds onsuit shower and balcony for 160pesos a night beccause the dorm room was being done up. Only draw back is the beach is miles away, u can get to main beach in taxi for 25-30 pesos or on... More

when i first walked in the door and met Aaron i asked him about a room, he said come back tomorrow and we'll have one...so we did and they didnt have one. He put us in the 'spare' room which was big and with an en suite, also very cheap so we couldnt complain. On closer inspection it was pretty... More

the pool is awesome. the common room is huge. if you have a sense of humor this is the place for you. Steve is hilarious, although if you are extremely PC you may wish to book elsewhere. he is likely to make up a personal nickname for you and use it mercilessly. :) i found this place to be the... Tower Bridge is the place to be in Puerto Escondido, Steve and Aaron are the most friendly people I ever met, so cool. They are independent bungalows and houses, full equipped, kitchen, toilet, and everything. You really feel like at home, and it is located in a very quiet part (Adoquin area), only ten minutes walking the most beautiul beach,... More
