I have stayed at Las Palomas twice, end of April for 2 nights, mid-July for 5 nights. Rooms are nice and modern. Pools are good; my son loved kids pool. Service both times was not good. They did not clean rooms despite calling front desk multiple times during both trips, yet when it was time to check out we were... More

Where do I even begin? First of all, anyone who is reluctant on going to Rocky Point because you've heard the security issues down there, I seen NOTHING when going through town, not even one person holding a machine gun....just stories! Anyway, we stayed in Phase II of the resort, Coronado 304, it was beautiful. The ammenties were great! The... More

My husband planned for a quick vacation and "Rocky Point" came up. This resort is one of the very few good options available. It has all the amenities required and the private beach makes it more attractive. We visited on a high traffic season and did not quite get the service we were looking for. The room keys did not... Rocky Point is not the best beach in Mexico, but it's nice for a quick getaway. A lot of the hotels there are less -than-perfect (very less than perfect). Las Palomas, on the other hand, is actually very nice. The pools have swim-up bars; the beaches have palapas & umbrellas; there is a great lazy river; and it is near... More

We have rented at several other resorts in Rocky Point, but this was the best. Great for families with many pools, water slide, lazy river, great beaches that are kept clean and have many palapas (thatch covered shade shelters). We had room Rubi 305, which faced straight onto the pools and beach, so no obstructions to the view and easy... More

Overall we had an excellent time and plan to come back...I think. We stayed in the E building in phase I (not sure of the name. Room 608 was AMAZING!! Beautiful, gorgeous, perfect awesome amazing view! I still have sweet dreams about this room. The hotel/room seemed had everything (on the surface at least). My husband put it perfectly. He... More

Spent 5 nights a Las Palomas. We arrived late in the evening so didn't see much the first night but the room was spacious and well decorated. AC worked well. Full kitchen and washer dryer. We had a main level room with a massive deck that overlooked the pools and a stairway directly to the pools. The development is huge... More

We stayed at Las Palomas about four years ago when the y recently opened and were very impressed overall. Last week we returned to stay there 3 nights and it was like day and night. What a difference a few years makes. Rooms are not clean properly, elevators are not working on every building (we had to bring luggage to... More
