Banff is not the easiest place to stay, at a reasonable price, if you are traveling with a small dog. The Red Carpet Inn is an exception. The motel was easy to book on line and with reasonable room rates and a single charge pet fee. We arrived early and the friendly person at reception said that they had out... More

This would have to be one of the best value for money hotels I have stayed in whilst in Canada. We had a large two queen size bed room with extremely comfy beds and pillows. Small bathroom but functional and spotlessly clean. Free parking(paid $30 in Whistler for parking), free wifi, free continental breakfast with cereals, toast (different types of... More

The property is old and the halls meander here and there but the room was very clean, fridge worked well and the bathroom was clean and shiny. Sheets appeared ironed which I enjoyed. The gentleman at check-in went the extra mile to help us work out our stay. Within a 5-minute walk of shops on the main drag. I would... More

We walked from the station took about 10mins. Quick book in, faced the back of the hotel over the car park. The room were good, clean , comfortable. Great location, we walked into town and back. Had to pay for internet. More

I decided to book the Red Carpet because they are pet friendly. We booked a room with a king sized bed. The view was of the parking lot. Our room had a fridge, but was not reachable because they placed a sitting area in front of it (the door only opens a couple of inches). The radiator makes the room... More

The entrance way doesn't scream luxury, but then, this hotel isn't about luxury. It was easily the best value in town, and I honestly can't fault the place. It's a little bit dated, sure, but other than that, for the money, you can't go wrong. Great location and great value. More

Well the real reason I chose this hotel was because it is pet friendly and I love taking our little pug everywhere we go! Was I impressed? Not overly. Would I stay here again? Probably. I wasn't overly impressed with the check in clerk (we arrived around 9 pm Friday January 13). She was quite rude about us having our... More

Red Carpet Inn is an economy hotel right in the middle of town. It is within walking distance of all restaraunts and shops in Banff townsite. It is very clean, we stayed in the two queen bed room and it is very spacious. The hotel also has a sparkling new hot tub to relax in after the days activities. The... More
