This was a weekend getaway from the city. This B&B is on a lovely quiet street with a walking path just across the road that leads to a beautiful canyon going one way, and spectacular Bow Fall in the other direction. Our room was charming, chalet-style, large and very very comfortable. Bed was great, as was plumbing and there was... More

I just got back from a nice trip to Banff. It wouldn't have been the same if I stayed elsewhere. My room (the Coach house king suite) was very well priced compared to super-expensive neighborhood hotels. The Pension is right off the main drag, so it's super-quiet. A five minute walk, and you're on Banff avenue. We hiked straight from... More

We attended the Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival in Banff, and decided to stay Banff Boutique Inn again. The original hotel we wanted to book was full, so this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We stayed in the Coach House King Room which is situated to the back of the main B&B, facing out into the... More

Starting our trip to Banff, my wife and I chose this place simply because we didn't want to stay in big hotels or crowding resorts. So to say, we had decided to sacrifice convenient amenities for cozy and tranquile comforts. Yet, I realized this boutique(literally!) inn provides its guests with not only cleanliness and tranquility but also hearty services. Even... More

For two years in a row my husband and I have enjoyed the welcoming environment of the Inn, cleanliness, delicious healthy breakfasts all while enjoying the view of the mountains. Owners Becky and Lee along with their staff greet visitors with enthusiasm and interest in ensuring the experience exceeds expectations. Lots to do in the area. The trail through the... More

We stayed at the Banff Boutique Inn for 9 nights in February, for a skiing holiday with a wedding slipped in! In total there were 15 of us staying, all arriving on different days and from different countries. Myself and my now husband and family arrived late on a Wednesday evening, after a long day of travelling to be greeted... More

After a third sleep-deprived night at the Blue Mountain Lodge (see my review), we went to the Banff Info Centre to inquire about quieter accommodations for next year’s stay. Leslie suggested several options including Pension Tannenhof (A Banff Boutique Inn), and we went to check out their rooms. (Thanks, Leslie!) At the Pension, the very helpful Jodie took quite a... The staff at Pension Tannenhof are very personable and helpful. The accommodations are very comfortable and spacious. Our room had dresser space for both my wife and I, as well as a lighted closet to hang clothes, put luggage and shoes. Our separate bathroom was detached from our room which is perfectly fine and acceptable by us. Rooms with a... More

My wife and I visited Banff in April 2011 and stayed at the Pension Tannendoff. We arrived mid afternoon and had no trouble in signing in and being given our room. (unlike many Australian hotels that wont admit you until usually 4pm) The inn had offstreet parking. It is situated a little over 500m from the town proper. It is... More
