Along the river was the best bed and breakfast I have stayed in. The breakfasts are to die for. Merril & Dianne are very excellent hosts and give a good conversation and are very knowledgeable about Calgary. We have stayed at ARR three times over the past 2 years. The 2 most recent visits (last in Jan 2012) we have stayed in the newly constructed 2nd floor rooms. My friend and I stayed in the new king suite which was delightful! The bathroom has a lovely shower - very spacious with a large showerhead and steamer. Very good value for bed and breakfast accomodation. There are now luxury suites which have all the features of 5 star rooms as well as regular rooms. Diane and Merril are caring hosts and offer lots of information about Calgary if needed. I have stayed previously and will try and stay again in the future. More
