we recently stayed at the chateau Louis for our wedding night. Overall it was great, but there was still room for improvement We had one of the large Jacuzzi suites, and were impressed with it other than the strong smell of smoke when we walked in.The jacuzzi was great, the lights (dimmers and such) are great (actually surprisingly important to... The Chateau Louis Hotel and conference Center turned out to be the perfect choice for our conference. There were over 110 people. The conference center is beautiful and recently renovated- The food was awesome ( normally I hate using that word but sometimes it applies as in this case) and included the hotel's signature Ukaranian dishes. Food and bar services... More

First impression of the room was...old and outdated. The room didn't have a scenic view, it had a view of the main road. The traffic noise was annoying. The room was in poor condition, the furniture had chips on the edges, the chairs had stains on it, the comforter looked old and worn. The bed was too soft, it felt... More

We joined friends for an Easter Brunch at the Chateau Louis Conference Centre. It was fantastic. The choice of food was incredible and our waitress never allowed our coffee cup to run out. Thank you so much, we will make the Easter Brunch at the Conference Centre one of our Easter traditions. Dawne Jagehofer Edmonton More

What a nightmare! The bedding was very obviously "used" and when I asked the housekeeper if the bed had been changed she said, "I don't remember." Bathroom dirty. Towels ripped. Comforter & blankets torn & with burn holes. Big clump of hair on my pillow. Floors and walls stained with a few "sticky" spots. Tiny, old TV sitting one foot... More

I stayed to this hotel for 5 nights. The rooms are old and definitely needs to be renovated. I spend over 30 nights per year in hotel rooms and it has been a long time since I saw old 27" tv's in a room. Also, the bathroom is extra small and the fan was blocked with a thick layer of... More

I booked a jacuzzi king for one night, decided to upgrade to presidential king suite. The guy on the phone put it through but then when I arrived they gave us the president king which costs the same price but is not worth the value. They explained that the employee was new. The room itself was in really poor condition,... More

The elevator has some kind of industrial smell to it (oil?) and management needs to spend some money here (better lighting and mirrors would be nice) to give guests an impression that they care about the image that they are trying to portray. The good news is that this hotel has one of the nicer piano bars that I have... More

I have stayed for 5 months. Spacious rooms with furniture large enough to live out of (and I should know!) but don't crowd the room. Some of the rooms are a bit older but are very comfortable and the hotel is in the process of renovating all the rooms. My wife and I also stayed in a jacuzzi suite and... More

This was one of the worst places I have stayed. I had phoned to book the room. When I booked it I asked to have a fridge in the room as I would need one. I was told that they would make sure there was one. I check in and head to my room. I walk in and there is... More
