Stayed there on 26th dec,2011. Overall its a nice hotel. It modern and cozy. Beds and pillows are really comfy. There is no swimming pool/hot tub, although it was my mistake for not checking before booking the room. Gym was updated recently. Its nice. Staff at the hotel is friendly. I will stay at this hotel again. More

The Marriott is my favourite hotel in the Edmonton area. The Downtown location is great for access to shopping and restaurants. Make sure you ask for a a view of the river. I never tire of the million dollar view. I stay here often, the staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and usually quiet. More

Location is decent. Easy check in and out. Friendly staff. Problem now is the renovation of their conference facilities next door. Jackhammering at 7 am would not be welcome for all but the hard of hearing. Soap left overs in the tub and carpet tile junction spikes also not appreciated. Overall ok but no at the level I have experienced... More

This is a good hotel downtown. Having lived in downtown Edmonton, the location of the hotel is pretty much the heart of the downtown. As I didn't stay here long I didn't get a chance to explore the hotel. There is free internet, no pool and you will be paying 20 bucks a day for parking so add this to... More

Was in Edmonton for work, and decided to stay downtown instead of out at the University like I usually do. Unfortunately didn't get into town early enough to check out downtown, but the hotel was fine. Room was clean, free internet, big flat screen TVs, etc. Had a nice view of the river, although the L-shaped building means that folks... More

I attended the 90th birthday of a close family friend. I stayed at the hotel for one evening. I usually try to stay at Mariott Hotels since I am a Marriott Rewards loyalty customer. I have stayed at the hotel on previous stays. The location is what makes the hotel attractive since it in the central downtown district. As with... More

In the downtown area of Edmonton and with parking at a premium price ($20/day valet). The restaurant staff accommodated us with a late night request but it ended up being a mediocre plate of nachos with a few shreds of cheese. Everything else was as it should be. More

The hotel is well located right in the center of Edmonton Downtown. This has its price, as parking is not free (valet and public available). Walking distance to public transport as well as all what Jasper Street has to offer. The reception desk service was courteous, not the same for the restaurant staff. The room was spacious with a great... More

The room was spacious and clean, very nice bathroom, comfortable beds, fabulous river valley view. The staff were avoidant at best, and our server in the restaurant (when he appeared) smelled of body odor. Interestingly, we had the same server at breakfast...bodor odor still present. We were unable to pay our bar bill due to lack of staff presence..in fact,... More

This Courtyard Inn is right beside the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald, the iconic CP Hotel and overlooks the North Saskatchewan River and entire river valley. If you want to be downtown Edmonton this is an excellent choice. The room we had was spacious and the beds comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive. The one drawback, as with many city centre... More
