My graduate student and I stayed here during a project meeting in Edmonton and found it to be delightful. The rooms are spacious and clean, the WiFi free and strong. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Ruth does a french press (2 cup at least) coffee for breakfast which is wonderful. One morning she heard me up early... More

Enjoyed my stay at Streetside Garden B&B. My room on second floor had 2 single beds, very comfortable mattress, firm and soft pillows provided, warm duvet, very cozy room with all amenities. Breakfast choices beautifully served. Knowledgeable about glutenfree diet (I had advised in advance). Ruth runs a very efficient and friendly bed & breakfast business. More

Ruth Carr established her B&B 15 years ago and has many customers who come back repeatedly to do business in Edmonton or attend a trade show or other event at Northlands, which is nearby. I can see why. She has a homey and well decorated place, and gives careful attention to the breakfasts she serves. She is available to help... More

I stayed about a week at Carr’s Streetside Bed and Breakfast with a colleague in the two rooms on the first floor. We honestly would have left after the first day if we hadn’t been asked to pay upfront . The owner kept going into the rooms, touching and moving our belongings around. It was really creepy. I asked the... More

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable week at this B&B at the beginning of Sept. 2009. The B&B is located in a largeish 3-storey house with a big garden in the Highlands area of NE Edmonton, a quiet, elm-lined neighbourhood just north of the river that dates back to 1912. We stayed in the Skyside suite, which takes... More

Streetside Garden Bed and Breakfast puts hotels at the rear of the bus. This place is a five star plus. We've had several memorable stays there and find Ruth and Paul to be delightful hosts. They should be as Ruth is past president of the Alberta Bed and Breakfast Association. The rooms are well appointed with superb amenities. The house... More

My friends and I stayed at Carr's Streetside B&B on a trip to Edmonton to see Britney Spears in concert. We stayed one night, and had an excellent stay. We were a 5 minute drive away from Rexall Place, but set back in a quiet neighborhood that felt very homey. Although the house appears to be old, it adds to... More
