We stayed here for a conference for one night and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is currently being renovated, so we expect it to look great in the future! Although renovations are not yet completed, the property is very well maintained. Upon check-in we were greeted by a very professional gentleman named Saidi. He told us he had put us... More

As you noticed , we are changing the interiors of the hotel to provide all our guests with modern amenities in the room while still keeping the charms of an older hotel. I travel a lot - over a hundred nights a year and I've been staying here for several years whenever I'm in Red Deer - even if I'm attending a conference at another hotel. The Black Knight Inn is such a nice change from the big chain hotels and is such a simple layout especially if you're attending a conference... More

First of all the reception is always the start and it started bad. This hotel is old, dated and overpriced. We had a suite with the pull out bed and it had holes in the covers. The main was comfortable enough. We were woken two nights in a row. The first night was just loud drunks in another room at... More

Respected Guest, Thank you for bringing to our attention the details of your recent stay with us. I personally followed up and found that you stayed with us in our Executive Suite for 2 nights for which you were charged $177/night. With your other room charges, which includes all your restaurant charges and in-room services, for an additional $119, your... More

We recently spent 2 nights at this hotel while attending a conference at a nearby location. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and the location was quiet. A slightly better job could have been done in cleaning as there were bits on the carpet and some areas were a little dusty, but overall it was satisfactory.... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your positive review of our hotel. As you mentioned , we are upgrading all our rooms . For a business traveller, this hotel is reasonably priced and well maintained. It is in the process of being upgraded as it is an older hotel. Nonetheless, it is clean, in a handy location and had a nice restaurant and bar attached to it. Interent connection was solid and the staff were friendly.

An older hotel in a convenient location. This wouldn't be my #1 choice in red deer, but it's a perfectly nice hotel. The decor is dated (definitely a 1980's vibe!) but the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. I stayed for one night, midweek and had breakfast there (there's a menu as well as the buffet option). The menu was... More

Stayed here for 3 days while in town attending a friends wedding. Helpful staff, clean rooms, and ample free parking. There's a nice lounge and restaurant in the hotel, as well as plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Very impressed with our stay here.

The Black Knight Inn hosted a wedding reception we attended so it was a natural choice to stay there over the weekend. The rooms were large and comfortable although the decor was a bit dated. The room had a nice desk for a laptop and internet access was easy to access. The only complaint I had was the smell of... More

This hotel has a beautiful lobby - great restaurant and food. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, but could use some updating. Not cheap - but average for a good hotel in this city.

I've stayed in a number of Red Deer hotels and this has been the best for me. The room I had was clean, quiet and not exceptionally dry, as so many hotels are in the winter. (They do humidify - I asked about it.) The buffet I've had more than once (and have taken customers there too). It has excellently... More
