Decided to drive for a business meeting in Whitehorse Yukon from Calgary.......another "bucket list" item....7 hours out of Dawson Creek at Muncho Lake you come across this log cabin hotel. The nicest place on the trip. Huge logs, spotless inside. Schnitzle and German Beer for Dinner, on the lake. Wireless internet worked great. If your doing the drive from Dawson... More

Stopped here on my way up to Dawson City YT. This lodge is fantastic and rare to be located within the boundaries of a provincial park, obviously deeded well before the establishment of the park. The rooms are basic and no frills, but clean and comfortable. The lake and mountains provide for ample natural beauty and wildlife. A big draw... More

My husband and I tried this hotel between Watson Lake and Ft Nelson. Next time we drive the Alaska highway we will skip this hotel and continue on to Ft Nelson. The hotel itself had a pleasant interior. We were travelling with our cat so we got the designated pet room. Consequently, we were put next to other "pet rooms"... More

While driving to Alaska we needed a place to stop and stay for the night. We came to this lodge after driving 14 hours and had to stop for rest. The lodge is beautiful from the outside. They are pet friendly. The rooms are basically designed. The floors are not carpeted and cold but I imagine easier for them to... More

We have not spent the night, but have stopped by on several trips between Alaska and the Lower 48. The lodge is magnificent, the food is exemplary, the coffee is excellent and plentiful. Anyone that is concerned about pricing should consider just how remote this wonderful facility is. On our latest visit we needed a length of tie wire for... More

This place is beautiful. I stayed in the main lodge and when you wake up and look out the window you see the northern rocky mountains, (beautiful). The price was $155 dollars and the food was a little expensive $16 for a burger and fries but what do you expect this place is in the middle of the northern rockies.... More

Headed up to spend the day at the Liard Hot Springs, which is located about 40 minutes away. We stayed in a cabin: included a sitting area, 2 beds, stand up shower with sink. Great for 2 people traveling, but a little cramped if you were to be over 4 people. Amenities included a convenience center, souvenir stand and restaurant,... More

After driving nearly all day to reach the Liard springs, we arrived fifteen minutes before the park and springs closed, and hadn't been told that before paying. So we promptly decided to turn around, try to get lodgings at the inn across the way, and were scared away by the sketchiness not to mention the bad attitudes encountered and the... More

After 20+ years of driving the Alaska Highway, I finally had the opportunity to stay here. Wow, what a letdown. Admittedly, I came with a pet, so that may skew the rooms, but why do I feel like I'm being punished for that? Base price $155, $10 for a child over 5 and $10 for the dog, so $165+ taxes,... More

After reading your email as well as your reviwe, it seems that you were made aware the fact that due to the remote nature of our Lodge, we... More

Service is on the ball. they speak many languages, and read emails 24-7. now... Keeping in mind that you are in the middle of the rockies and there is only campgrounds, this place is great. It's the only place between Fort.Nelson and Watson Lake that has hotel rooms, with a flushable toilet in each room. your not camping your in... More
