Very comfortable accommodation in the heart of town. Room was ok a little below the standard that we have enjoyed during our trip. On saying this it was good and I would suggest that it is good value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also has free wifi which can be a bonus. More

Just returned from a weekend stay at the Thompson. I parked my truck in the hotel parkade directly in front of a security camera only to have my vehicle broken into. The thieves emptied the contents of my vehicle after punching out the lock on the driver's door. The police reviewed the camera tape and informed me that the footage... More

My family has been staying here on a regular basis for over 20 years. We've always been treated so well by the front office team. Kari and Stephanie always take good care of us and we appreciate it every time. It's the service that makes the difference here. Thanks each and every time. Kudos to Peter the night audit as... More

I just returned from a two-night stay at this hotel. I found the hotel staff to be extremely caring and willing. Both in helping me to track down some mixed up luggage and the source of slightly-too-loud music, the staff went out of their way to demonstrate the value they place on the experience of their customers. In terms of... More

We were placed at the Thompson Hotel for one night while on a Rockies Mountaineer Goldleaf train tour. The hotel was quite drab and ordinary but we were only there to sleep before returning to the train in early morning. Our room had two double beds which took up most of the space but as I've already said we were... More

We wanted spacious bedrooms, and quiet. We got 3 queens, 2 in one room, one in the other, perfect layout for what we wanted. The railway noise wasn't too bad. We used our chits to buy breakfast at the cafe downstairs - excellent. More

Just completed a 3 night stay at this hotel. Very convenient location if you need to be downtown. Also, one of the bus transfer locations is right next to the hotel if you don't have a car. Room itself was very nice, spacious and clean. Bed was very comfy and the room was quiet, even though the hotel was full... More
