I would like to thank Shirley for giving us a nice clean non smoking room as promised on the phone. This has made our stay very comfortable. Our group also wish to thank Wesley for watching over our luggages which he was so kind as to allow us to store there until we leave later in the afternoon.

The VIA Rail train from Prince Rupert to Jasper stops overnight in Prince George, so through travelers have to book a hotel. I have not been impressed much about anything in Prince George but this hotel exceeded my expectations in almost every way. Very nice and personable staff, clean and comfortable rooms, good selection of restaurants. Pub restaurant should be open a bit later though. The service offered by this place certainly exceeds the low price.

The VIA Rail train trip between Prince Rupert and Jasper (no matter which way you do the trip) stops overnight in Prince George.
