Not a great hotel, but perfectly adequate and a good value. There are a few other hotels nearby that are also reasonably priced ... but since they tend to book up, we have several we use from time to time. The rooms aren't great, but there's nothing wrong with the place ... while it's seen better days, with a discount... More

Price of the rooms are extremely reasonable for the Vancouver region. GREAT location, right on Denman St. and minutes to the beach. If you are into biking around Stanley Park, you are in luck! There are a number of rental places within an easy walk! If you are a pet owner, the hotel is right in a residential area with... More

We selected this hotel for a few reasons (location, 2 bedroom suite) but primarily due to the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. I am not sure how it received such a high rating. When we first went into the room, I thought that they had given us a old room in error. We went immediately back to the front desk who... More

The hotel was awesome, the waitress Marianne, was worth the whole stay at the coast. I would stay there again just to have Marianne serve me and to bring a welcome to her customers. I love the quick walk to the beach, and it even a not a far walk to the canucks store. I loved my stay. The decor... More

The rooms are very spacious and it was worth the extra $$ to get a 23 floor or higher room facing the mountains/bay. Really great staff - very welcoming and attentive. Comfy beds. Funky pool area but it is clean and large. Great sauna. The gym looked lovely and apparently you can attend classes for 1/2 price if you are... More

The Staff was great, I had to leave early due to a Family emergency and they were very accomodating. I was immensely impressed with their level of service and attention to my needs and propmtness in dealing with my requests. The service makes up for the older decor of the hotel. More

I have stayed at this hotel for business and pleasure for the past 10 years. The staff areexcellent, the location is not directly downtown but close to beaches tons of restaurants and a short walk from Robson Strasse. Rooms have small fully equipped kitchenettes and I think this hotel is best value for money in downtown Vancouver. Highly recommended. I... More

I thought that the Coast Plaza was centrally located and handy to so many things in Vancouver I thought that the Coast Plaza did a great job of making us comfortable and taking care of all of our needs while we were there. It is close to Stanley Park, English Bay and Robson Street so it is the best of... More

I recently stayed here for a First Nations Conference. I love it when this hotel is used for Conferences and the reason is simpleFree internet in the rooms and in the conference areas - other hotels gouge you on charging an arm and a leg for internet access - The Westin Bayshore goes so far as to charge per device...
