The Chateau Moncton stands out in its location on Main Street at one end of the downtown section and close to the Champlain Mall. Rooms are large, clean, and very well furnished, and from all but the bottom floor, there's a good view of the river, although that's not a major plus. A very good hot breakfast is part of... More

Thank you for your kind words. You are correct, there is no family dining option on the same side of the street as the hotel unless you walk 10 minutes west or so. As you mentioned, there is a nice fine dining seafood restaurant adjacent to the hotel, as well as 3 fast food type restaurants within a 2-3 minute... More

The Hotel is located just on the boundary between Moncton and Dieppe and is very easy to find - especially with the signature red roof! The hotel staff were fantastic to deal with our team bookings of over 75 rooms for the recent Ringette Tournament. Answered many questions from the parents about the booking and when rooms were ready on... More

This is a nice hotel right on the river there in Moncton. Great access to down town. I have stayed here on a number of occassions. My main complaint about the hotel is that their mattresses are very soft. On one of my stays there, I woke up one morning with an aching back, and asked the manager at the... More

Thank you for your feedback. I apologize on behalf of the member of my staff that didn't follow up with you. I'll look into it. While our matresses are identical to the ones used at our sister property in Saint John, it is possible that your particular room has seen more stays than our average and as such would be... More

We recently stayed at this hotel in order to catch an early flight a month ago. We were overwhelmed by the cleanliness of not only the lobby, but the room as well. The beds were super comfortable. Our request for a riverside room was accepted and we had a very peaceful sleep. We loved the fact that there are two... More

We visit Moncton on a regular basis to see family but stay here as four of us is a bit much to accomadate. We like our family and want to keep it that way. Chateau Moncton is affordable, clean large rooms and has a great breakfst thrown in. It is right across the street from the mall and Superstore and... More

Has a great lay out for room and decor. Service was medium. Great location but in the traffic so hard to get out of the parking lot. Also, very noisy in the hotel when group are concerned. Poor quality of sound proof wall between the rooms. Would consider other hotel before opting for this hotel More

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. We were in town for a hockey tournanment and our team had booked a group block. From the time of reservation to check out the staff were all accomodating and helpful. Our rooms was large and bright, really comfortable beds and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was amazing and although the breakfast... More

We've stayed here a few times now and each time has been consistently "very good" in terms of meeting our guest service expectations. The overall value, cleanliness & sleep quality exceeded our expectations and the free parking & Bfst pushed this hotel over in terms of overall value for our travel dollar. With the exception of one (angry & disgruntled)... More
