Arrived without a reservation but was able to get a room at CAA rate. Top floor so it was very peaceful. Newspaper outside the door in the morning and a nice breakfast to get us on our way.

Nice touches include a room with a bottle of wine available for purchase which was great on a Sunday since all the liquor stores are closed. Nice hot breakfast and lovely view from the bed over the city.

I have stayed here on a number of occassions.
Rooms are nice and clean. Beds are comfortable.
Just ask for a room away from the elevator. That can be noisey.
They upgraded me to a suite the last stay which was very nice.

Lots of parking available, a few on the lobby level in the front and lots in the back which brings you in a couple of floors down from the main lobby area. Nice king room with solid mattress and good linen. The suite had a microwave, refrigerator, and came with wine - red and white - in the room as well as popcorn which you could purchase.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Saint John during a business trip in November 2011. Hotel was clean, included an awesome 9ft deep indoor pool and a decent sized gym.
Rate: 99$ + tax (Fed Gov. rate) you can't really beat the price.
