We have stayed at a few bed & breakfast inns and I can tell you this....this one is by far the worst we ever stayed in....Faith, the innkeeper, was on patrol! She chastised, made rules. We took her many times as being a rude person and from the moment we walked in the door it was a explanation of her... More

This was my first stay at the King George and hopefully not my last. What an awesome part of Nova Scotia steeped in history and beauty. The Inn was warm and inviting and the rooms cosy and homey. And Faith, truly a gem that I will never forget. Come with a sense of humor and you will enjoy every minute... More

My husband and I stayed at the King George over the summer for our anniversary - we had seen the previous reviews mentioning about the militant inn keeper and thought we would give it a try regardless - and we are glad we did! The room was charming and even including wine - it was a short walk to the... More

This has been our second stay at the King George and as with the first it was enjoyable and we felt very at home and relaxed. We both love Faith for what she has done with the place and with her style of entertaining and humour it makes the stay even more memorable. A great place with warmth and ambiance.

My wife and I had only stayed at one Bed and Breakfast previously and it was a private cottage in a very rural area. Honestly, we did not know what to expect when arriving at the King George Inn. Faith the Innkeeper, was on the sidewalk with her dog as we drove up. We took this as a friendly accommodating... More

I called to inquire about making an off-season reservation. Not only are they not open during the off-season (which is NOT what their website indicated. It specifically stated "We are open all year"), but the woman I was speaking to on the phone was very short with me, bordering on rude, and practically hung up on me in her rush... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this amazing Victorian home ,with the most welcoming and helpful hostess/owner, Faith, who provided a warm welcome and every assistance to enhance our vacation experience in Annapolis Royal. The rooms are spacious, furnished with antiques as well as modern appliances and comforts. A delicious ,fresh breakfast, served on fine china, welcomed the day. We would... More

Ignore the previous negative comments if you want to truly experience Victorian hospitality in Annapolis Royal. My wife and two children recently stayed two nights at the King George Inn and had a great stay. Faith was extremely helpful and on the first night made dinner reservations for us advising that restarants can be quite busy on weekends. The pancakes... More

I stayed here one night while on business in the area. It was an amazing expereince. Faith, the inkeeper, is an incredible individual. She made me feel so welcomed. The house is beautifully furnished. I lacked nothing. She served me breakfast at the hour of my choosing. I was delighted with the cost per night. It was VERY reasonable. I... More

The furnishings were OK but I did not have a good night's sleep. When I mentioned it in the AM I was told "it can't be the bed since that's where I sleep in the winter". I can tell you that the beds in the Bread and Roses Inn and The Tulip Tree B&B (both in Annapolis Royal) are far... More
