The hotel is brand new with modern, functional rooms and bathrooms (excellent shower!). Could not hear any noise from outside even though my room was facing the highway in a far distance. Stayed at this hotel for 1 night for a conference at a local church. Very nice hotel - was able to check in with no delay, and the staff were friendly. Terrific new Four Points. Great staff. Great Food. Reasonable upgrades for SPG Plats New FP style rooms well done and no issues with noise off the expressway. Lots of parking. Secure/Safe area. More restaurants/retail a 5 min drive away. More

There is no reason why only 5 stars hotels should get 5 stars. I love Four Points. The Waterloo/Kitchener area is known for its lack of good hotels, which makes this one the very best pick in the area. Believe me. I tried them all.
