Room cleaning is not good, pillows are old, lack of light for reading in bed and the food served by room service is very bad for both; breakfast and dinner (hamburger burned). Hotel well located, close to shoping center, convention center convention center and major tourist attractions..

Cons: - The bathroom door is really a just a screen. Looks like they were inspired by those Japanese "shoji" doors. Guys, if you're going to copy Japan's washrooms, get a Toto washlet. Entering the hotel was pleasant - sunshine through windows, clean entrance and smiles on Front Desk employees. The room was clean and the floor I stayed on was clean and quiet. The hotel is in the center of the downtown - close to shopping and restaurants. I enjoyed my stay and will return to Novotel when I visit Ottawa again!

Rooms are mediocre. For the price you pay, you get a room that should be priced well below what they charge you. Comforters are lumpy. Bed sheets are of poor Quality, they don't even have a dish soap in the bathrooms. Never again. For a little bit more you can stay at the Westin, Fairmount. Ghetto!

The hotel itself is great, located in the very center, the rooms are quite big, a bit old fashioned but still very good. The view form the tower can be good once you are at the high floors.
