This hotel has been my favourite place to stay in the Soo ever since it opened. It is rightly rated as a Gold Award Winner (top ten percenter) in the entire Choice Hotels portfolio of properties.
Right across from the tour train station and downtown mall, a short walk to the riverfront boardwalk, and one block from some great restaurants...

I booked there because of my Choice Privilege points, and had a nice surprise when I entered the room. I would defenitely go back to this hotel for a week-end!
Nice spacious room (I had a corner window, wow), large bathroom, new equipment.
Carpets are not dirty and are cleaned often. No bad odors at all anywhere in the hotel....

Hotel very nice, my well-priced room was huge and had a view of the river. Staff were helpful and courteous. The food in the bistro was not very good (there was a recent change of ownership, but I don't see an improvement since I was there in July 2011).

I have to say, I was very apprehensive when booking at a Quality Inn. I normally do not stay at any Choice Brand hotel. I usually stay with IHG and Marriott brands or stay at Boutique hotels.
What a great property!

This is an average chain motel a block from the lake walk and walking distance to restaurants and attractions.
Average free breakfast in morning--has option for a hot breakfast for a reasonable price.
