avarage location, bathroom and room were horribly small, if you are above 170cm you may find it difficult to take a shower :D, disastrous staff, the lady told us that we can pay $5 more if we want a room with a bathroom and a window, the thing was that the bathroom in the room didn't have a door :D... We stayed here for 5 nights in March/April 2012, when we arrived the lady tried to over charge us and we had to show our email confirmation to prove how much we should have to pay. Then we were told we would not be staying in the hostel but in other accommodation which was accross the road. The accomodation here... More

it's a good place to stay in toronto. nice location (chinatown), about 20 min walk to center. staff is very friendly and helpful, atmosphere in the hostel is really good. for a youth hostel it's not very cheap, but the place is clean and breakfast included, which is okay. if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs, room had poor... We felt really welcome at this place, the hostess was a gem who took great care of us and helped us out with everything we asked for. Granted, the rooms are quite worn, the view is not so nice and they smear vaseline under the bed to ward off cockroaches, but it was very clean and beds were big and... More

We made a world journey and stayed in different hostels all over the world. and this was, by far, the worst hostel we stayed in. We wouldn't go here again and advise you to take a look elsewhere. It's a cheap option, but then not even worth the money. They need to clean-up bad. Our room was in a basement... More

What a tip! This place is DISGUSTING! Being regular travellers, we have never stayed in anything so dire! We arrived at Toronto Aiport and were picked up by one of the employees of the hostel. En route, the driver pulled over on the highway and told us that we would have to stay in a different hostel, 30 minutes outside... More

Toronto accommodation is expensive, and having stayed in many a 1 star backpackers before, I decided to 'slum' it for $45 a night for a private room at Toronto Travellers Home. A price which is outrageous considering I ended up sleeping in a room which was no bigger than a cupboard AND also was the fire escape for the building.... More
