It was truly a treat to have the opportunity to spend 5 days at the Lakeview Victorian in October 2004. The inn is located in a residential area of Toronto, with many shops and restaurants right nearby. We booked this B & B purely on the comments from Trip advisor. It is different from other places we have stayed but has great character. Stayed here for a week having read the previous reviews. As with previous US reviewer, our overall reaction was of disappointment for a number of reasons: 1) shared bathroom facilities on main floor - we were also not shown the 2nd bathroom by host on arrival. After reading all the great reviews of this B&B, I was a bit disappointed. I've stayed in numerous B&B's and this was the only one where I wished that I had stayed elsewhere.
