Got put here by the airline when they cancelled our flight. Tiny room (2 double beds). Ok for a place to sleep, and good location downtown. Wouldn't want to stay for more that a night. Room seemed clean, and bed was actually pretty comfortable as hotel beds go. For dinner try The Keg a few blocks north on York St.

I stayed in The Strathcona Hotel for four nights in April/May 2013 while attending a conference in downtown Toronto. The hotel is old but nicely renovated and clean. Excellent service, very good breakfast and overall good value for the money. I did not use swimming pool or spa, so I am not ranking them. Mariusz Bielawski Ottawa

The hotel is located very near the Union Station, so no complaints about the location although train stations throughout the world are not the safe places.
