Stayed here for business and was extremely impressed. The location is very convenient to transit (Queen St. Streetcar) and in a fabulous neighbourhood (Leslieville) - convenient to great restaurants to the west and the beaches to the east. The house, rooms, and bathroom are spotless. The fruit bowl starting breakfast is generous in both quantity and variety, and Joseph's poaches... More

Between the two of us this is the third time we have stayed at Arise N Shine B & B. My wife and I were there separately last summer and fall, and this time we were there together, visiting our son who lives in Toronto. Situated in the Leslieville / Queen St. E. area of Toronto, I can't imagine a... More

My wife and I were in Toronto to visit family and stayed 1 week at this B&B, off Queen St near the beaches area. Great location for galleries, restaurants. Easy to get down town by car or Tram, and many many options for shopping. Joseph our host prepared great breakfasts and the room, house and WC were super clean. WiFi... More

Trying to find accommodation during conference season in Toronto can be quite a challenge, but the hard work ended up leading me to Joseph's doorstep at Arise N Shine and I'm very happy it did! I stayed in the Sunlit Suite on the top floor; it was lovely-comfortable and quiet with a great bathroom, a walk in closet and outdoor... More

We stayed at Arise 'n' Shine for our 5 day stay in Toronto and loved it. With only 3 rooms, you can be assured of personal attention. Joseph is a very attentive host, with a good knowledge of Toronto and tips/advice. As a trained chef, his breakfasts, cooked to order, are a real treat. The house itself is spotlessly clean... More

You'll find Arise 'n Shine a neat brick house on a quiet street in downtown Toronto. Our bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable, with wide windows overlooking a small back garden and neighbouring gardens. Joseph is a most gracious and helpful host, who prepared a delicious and healthy breakfast and gave us helpful advice on tourist attractions and travel and... More

I stayed at Arise and Shine for two days, and it could not have been a better experience. From the moment you enter there and Joseph, the owner, offers you something to drink and explains to you the interesting things you can do in Toronto and everything that you need to know to be there, you realize that you are... Would highly recommend this bed and breakfast . Joseph went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. We needed an early start and a 7 a.m. breakfast was no problem. It was delicious. The rooms are spacious and attractively decorated. Very close to downtown Toronto with many restaurants within walking distance. I had to call probably 10 places before... More

I had to spend two nights on my own in Toronto and was really happy here. The place is spotless, the rooms are spacious but also homey. Joseph was so helpful - directions, suggestions, taking messages etc. He is also an excellent cook and made delicious breakfasts where the guests sit together which is nice. I also really liked the... More

The place is very new, very clean, and very close to different areas. Joseph made the most excellent breakfasts and he always knew the best way to get everywhere. I had a loose idea of what I wanted to see. He took a look at my plans and advised us to get day passes for the public transit...on weekends two... More
