As soon as I saw the Fairholme online, I knew we had to stay there. It was every bit as amazing and breathtaking as the photos show. The innkeeper Rebecca was wonderful, very pleasant, helpful, and quiet - we didn't hear a peep. The whole house was gorgeous, beautifully restored with many authentic Victorian details.

We stayed only one night, and we already know that we will be back to stay in a different yet equally beautifully appointed room. Ha ha...we had the whole inn to ourselves and so with the innkeepers blessings, we could meander through the rooms and wonder at the work that was put into woodwork, restoration, design, and decor of this... Our niece got married at the Fairholme on Dec 29. The setting was beautiful as were our rooms. Several of us were stranded in Charlottetown because of the snowstorm and Rebecca, the inn keeper, made us feel right at home.

What a heavenly experience from the time Rebecca, a tour de force innkeeper, welcomed me at the door to the time I regretfully had to say goodbye. The inn was an oasis in the city especially after a busy day of sightseeing. The Irene Rogers suite was so peaceful and comfortable that I never wanted to leave. It was a... More

Our week stay in Charlottetown to watch our daughter play hockey at the university was turned into a relaxing holiday for us when we found ourselves esconsed in the genteel luxury of the Fairholm Inn. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed; the fireplace a welcoming addition for those cool autumn days. Conversation with Rebecca and her wonderful breakfast was... More

This was a real Gem. We were fortunate to find this Inn at such a reasonable price close to the centre of Charlottetown. Rooms are clean, well furnished, and each is unique. Would liked to have stayed longer, but unfortunately there was no availability for the last 2 nights of our trip. Innkeeper is attentive and friendly, couldn't ask for... More

Our visit to the Fairholm was a part of a surprise birthday. I must say, ... I have never stayed in such a beautiful Inn. Such elegance, beauty, history .... the photos do not do this B&B justice! The entrance is most welcoming and the dining/lounging area is absolutely stunning! The attention to detail in the construction from the floors,... More

My husband and I stayed here in early October, Thursday to Monday. We were very impressed! The entire setting and interior is stunning and the location is great - easy walking distance to the waterfront and historic properties, with beautiful shops and restaurants along the way. The surrounding area was quiet, though just walk a couple of blocks for some... More

This tops virtually all B&Bs my wife and I have visited. It is a totally preserved historical property dating back to the mid 19th century. From its antiques to its more modern conveniences, nothing is left for the traveller to wish for. Suites and baths and all living areas large and extremely comfortable. Rebecca, the innkeeper and chef, responds perfectly... More

The room was huge and we slept in a big four-post bed. The decor is elegant and reminiscent of the historic era the building was built in (I forget when.) But we were glad to see we also had a very modern shower and bathroom fixtures. The service was pleasant and we received great advice on where to rent our... More
