We stayed there one night in april. Got a very good deal online. Ended up in a very small room that needed to be renovated. You can't hide outdated with a few pillows. Some lamps didn't work, the curtains could not easily be opened and the bathroom was very small. Heating system did not seem to work as the room... More

If you mind the noise, ask for a room in the back since the rooms up front gives on Ste-Catherine street and Place des spectacles. But It could also be a great front row place to see the shows going on the street in the summer (Jazz festival, Formula one racing, etc...). Location is great, near the Chinatown, the convention... My wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. First, the renovation is completed so you will not have any issues with construction noise. However, while the rooms are "newer" the quality was not that great - we found peeling wallpaper in a few places in the room. This is relatively minor considering the solid amount of space in... In general, this hotel was a good experience. I was there for a 4 day business conference and all of my meetings were in the hotel conference rooms. Room quality: I stayed on the 3rd floor overlooking St.Catherine Street. Lovely view. The room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. - Additional outlets on the nightstand would be useful so that I... We stayed here in August, wanting something downtown that was 4 star. We bid on priceline and did end up getting a decent price for it (130, i think)..plus parking. As soon as we got into the room, we were very underwhelmed. It felt like a 2 star..and there are no real amenities in the hotel. The staff were okay...but... More

We recently stayed here with two kids. The location is excellent, and parking is easy. We loved that there was a food court below, a supermarket behind us and many, many options for walking. We cruised St. Urbain, St. Denis and St. Laurent. We were only there the one night, but if we had more time we would have gone... More

Very long wait for check in This time technical problem to reach the operator by phone. It means you have to go down to reception Only one guest at the restaurant. Understandable, when you ask to have your pasta without dressing. Impossible it means that nothing is fresh I warmly recommend to stay somewhere else. For what Hyatt Montreal offers... More

This a worn out, dated Hyatt. Decor needs refreshing. The staff are ok. One or two seem to realise they work in the service industry but for the rest this has passed them by. Arrived at 11pm. No food or room service available. The kitchen was locked up. The breakfast is poor and extremely expensive ($50 for 2). Go to... More

Booked the Hyatt Regency through Priceline and was pleased. We booked the hotel for an extended Easter weekend getaway and the location was perfect. Close enough to the Plateau, downtown and Old Montreal. The room was older but clean and satisfactory. The connection to the underground mall was a nice convenience. Would surely stay here again. Montreal, beautiful city full of culture. and just 7 hours from Long Island NY. We had an excellent stay and thoroughly enjoyed the hotels restaurant, and bar. I even had the opportunity to use the wine tasting self serve station. Fitness Center is a bit on the smaller side, but doesn't matter since there is so much to do with... More
