This hotel has become our home when we visit our daughter in McGill. Great location and the best staff in Montreal we have encountered so far. They anticipate your needs and remember preferences. The restaurant is ok but a bit soul less.

The Sofitel Montreal is a great place to stay. From the momement you arrive to the moment you leave you feel pampered. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again. The hotel restaurant has very good ambiance. From the front desk, to the concierge, to the check out, I was treated like a VIP.

Great location near McGill university with garage. Would recommend doing the advanced pre-paid reservation for better price. Great beds guarantee a good night sleep which is a must when you have a long road ahead. Terrific (though pricey) breakfast at the Renoir.
