The hotel is just perfect. Only two things to be improved: no swimming pool and the Otto restaurant service should be much better.

The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to great shopping, restaurants, and Old Montreal. I checked in late, and as an SPG Platinum member, received an upgrade to a Fantastic Suite. As is the case with most, and I repeat, most W properties, the room was stylish, spacious, and had a great view of Victoria Square.

This was our first time visiting Montreal and our first time at the W Montreal. The hotel was absolutely amazing and the staff were very helpful and treated us like VIP's! The room was beautiful and was very modern and well maintained. The hotel is a perfect location - close to shopping, Old Montreal and the subway is connected to...

Loved the service at the hotel. Had considered staying at the Westin, but glad we stepped up a bit for the W. Took a bit of time to check in, but otherwise no issues. There are 3 bixi bike rental spots right near the hotel, and they are a great way to check out the city.
This is my second stay at the W Montreal. Rooms are really nice, spacious and trendy. Beds are super comfortable. Bathroom materials very good. Great view on the square.
Just one downside (besides the terrible Otto restaurant-see my review separately): the lobby is real dark, you can barely see anything. It is probably meant to be like this but it...

Originally from Montreal and I've always wanted to stay here. So when I came back to visit family of course I decided to spend the extra money and spend a week-end at the W. The hotel like all the other reviews mention is in a perfect location for sightseeing. Its directly connected to the underground city via the elevators and...

it was a great place to stay while i was in Montreal. The place is nice and quiet during the day but at night the lounge and the club in the main floor gets really good. good crowd, good music etc.
The rooms are really nice a little small but well decorated and very sexy. The shower is a clean...

This hotel is difficult to review because of all the plusses - and minuses. So first, things to love:
Location. You are right smack between Old Montreal and all that has to offer, and downtown shopping. Easy walking distance between both. It is also close to some awesome restaurants (Og, L'Original, Le Carter, Holder, to name a few.)
Public transportation...

We ended our honeymoon at the W. It's a very modern hotel in old Montreal. The check in, valet parking, and concierge services were super easy and friendly. Our room was huge! Very clean and urban, the furniture is very sleek and the layout is very minimal.
No special menu for dietary concerns is my only negative review.

Loved everything about it. Great place for young people who can afford the luxury. Lobby is loud on weekend nights with the club and lounge on-site, so not the right place if you're looking for a quiet stay. Everything about the room was fantastic! Would definitely stay here again.
