I've attempted to contact the hotel several times. The number is now out of order. I've stayed there in the past and it's been great. Too bad.
They may still have the hostel in the back open.

This hotel is infested with bed bugs. Apparantly they have had the problem for some time and not done anything about it. Both my travel companion and I are covered in swollen, itchy bites. The itchiness is bad enough but the thought that we could have brought any bugs home horrifying. Save your vacation and yourself. Stay somewhere else.

First of all, let me say that there is no way you can find better than this for that price. Keep in mind that it was built in 1760 so of course it's old, the pipings, and electrical wires are not all hidden in the walls (most of the walls are made of stone), but that's all part of the...

I luckily found this hotel thru other travelers' comments in Trip Advisor. It was lovely and perfect for us. Kindest staff. Hot, home made croissants fresh out of the oven in the morning. Breakfast at a large table in the center of the kitchen with other incredibly interesting guests. Perfectly set in a quiet allee in Vieux Montreal. Wonderful restaurants...

I have stayed in this hotel before and loved it, the rooms are charming and very large. Its more like an Inn than a hotel. I found the hostel to be quiet. It is a very old building with old wood floors and they do creak. This last stay was spoiled by the bed bugs in our room. I have...

Although the location is great, I did not know that this was more of a hostel where you make your own breakfast. It could be a great thing if you are sick of constantly buying food and would like to make something the way you like it. I am very sensitive to bugs and unfortunatlely they had bed bugs and...

This hotel is housed in a beautiful old building that once housed the presses for one of Montreal's first newspapers. Right near the old port, there are tons of dining and entertainment options within a short walk, as well as beautiful views. For transport, there is a bus stop and even a bixi (bicycle rental) station just up the street....

We stayed here for 3 nights in May and had a very enjoyable stay. We had the Mazurka room which was lovely and bigger than I expected for the price. We saw into a few of the other rooms and they were all decorated really nicely with a cosy, homely feel. One room seemed to have a very strong smoky...

We stayed for two nights. The exterior of the building is beautiful as is the location. Everything seemed perfect, the website is marvelous and we thought we had found a treasure---- until we opened the door. It is dark inside and a bit smelly. Our room was baren, and poorly furnished..as if someone had gone to a garage sale and...

I rented two rooms for my family. While the hotel is charming, my room was directly above the front door and reception area. Because the hotel is also the check-in for the hostels run by the owners, my room was very noisy until late at night. The other room was advertised as having a wood smoke smell—which it did, to...
