Our trip was in July 2007 and I was taking my 13 year old skateboard son, who was at risk, from BC to the cultural East. I have bare bone high school french and my son has rien du tout. We were an awkward twosome, but the hospitality was kind , gracious and the food spectacular.. We enjoyed the walks... More

Stayed for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. Our room was lovely and impeccably clean, with fresh white bedsheets and large windows letting in lots of natural light. The hosts were very accommodating, especially the resident kitty cats! Good location, a short drive from the Old City (or a 20 minute walk in good weather) and a handy collection... More

The owners, Stephane and Naoko make the b and b a very nice place to spend a few days with their constant attention to keeping the shared bathrooms clean and beautifully prepared and visually pleasing breakfasts using only the highest quality ingredients. The breakfast table in the large lovely main room is a joint one so guests have good opportunity... More

The B&B is located on a quiet street, one block from the festive Rue de Cartier, which is lined with bars, restaurants, and local shops. It’s also a few blocks from Rue de Grand Aller, one of the main drags to the historic Old Quebec (15 minute walk), Museum of Fine Arts (5 minute walk), and the Plains of Abraham... More

La Maison Bourlamaque is a comfortable and affordable option when visiting Quebec City. It is a very pleasant 15-20 minute walk to the old city along beautiful streets with mature trees and heritage architecture. Avenue Cartier is the next street over and is a local destination neighbourhood with great restaurants (Cafe Krieghoff is a nice local spot), bars, supermarket and... More

My husband & I (ages 40 & 37) really enjoyed our one night Quebec stay at this B&B. We were very pleased with our room which was spacious, had high ceilings, a tall window and good quality white bed linens. I especially enjoyed having a pedestal sink in the room (very french) which we found was useful and quite smart.... More

I used this review site to select La Maison Bourlamarque (LMB) for a New Year's visit, and agree this B & B is a wonderful place to stay! Factor in that safe parking and delicious (to see and to eat) breakfast is included, and you'll find Stephane and Naoko offer a great value. As a tall person, I'm used to... More

We stayed here in this lovely B & B in October 2011 and had a wonderful stay. The room was spotless as was the shared bathroom. Both Stephane and Naoko were so friendly and the breakfasts they supplied were excellent especially the wonderful omelettes. The B & B is in a great area for restaurants and cafes even though it... Good location outside Old Quebec but within walking distance. There are plenty of cafes, pubs, and restaurants in the area. Stephane and his wife Naoko made a lovely breakfast - we got to choose between waffle, omelette, and crepe. Free parking outside the house. We paid $110 in cash. Comfortable and clean room with shared bathroom - we did have... More

My husband, daughter, son-in-law and myself stayed in two rooms at La Maison Bourlamaque for 5 days on our vacation to Quebec. Their B&B was beautifully decorated and immacualtely clean with white towels and white bed linens. (I would love to know the secret to keeping them so white!)
