I was staying at Hotel Pur (my favourite but now bought by Wyndham, shame) and then went to Chateau Laurier where my conference was taking place. Yes, I had the European room, it was fine, small, clean, quiet but it's only for one person under 150 lbs.

Stayed at the Château-Laurier for business. Room was booked by my office for convenience of location. My room was very small and the bathroom was even worse! Too bad because the location is great and so is the service. I would recommend this hotel for the budget-consicous traveler though.
