We have stayed here twice now- both times in a blizzard. Current owners, Marjorie and Pascal, were kindness personified. They assisted with our travel plans and went out of their way to accommodate us (even moving our car for us so that we would have easy early morning access). Not only is the B and B well located, with parking,... More

We have had a fantastic stay here. Marjorie is a friendly and gracious host. Chez Hubert is a beautiful historic house that is easy to feel at-home in.The location is ideal -- an easy walk to restaurants, the waterfront, and Old Quebec historic sites.

Marjorie was very welcoming and offered plenty of suggestions of places to eat at and see. Great location for seeing both the old town and the city. We had a lovely big room and shared the bathroom. Yes, the rooms are old but why would you expect otherwise? The floors do creak even when one is trying to be as... More

Chez Hubert was nice, but based on the glowing reviews, I expected a little more. The room was very large, but a bit cavernous without much decoration. The bathroom was very out of date. I suppose one should expect this in an old building in the historic city center, but rather than being "quaint", it just came across as "old".... More

Our experience at Chez Hubert was nothing but positive. It offered us, above all, an extremely well-located base for discovering Old Quebec. Additionally, the great location was achieved at a very agreeable price considering other rates in Quebec City. The hosts provided us with a welcoming atmosphere and a comfortable second floor room. Two bathrooms were available off the landing... More

The B&B is in an excellent location for exploring the old center. Our room which came with a private bathroom was large and decently maintained, but offered amenities and comfort on par with what you should expect from a B&B in an older building, and felt 'cold' in a vaguely institutional way. Parking at the back was indeed a bonus... More

A lovely family run B&B. Very charming, clean and comfortable. On the top floor where we stayed, there were four rooms and 2 shared bathrooms which were always clean during our three-day stay. Decent amenities, comfortable beds. We had a room for three persons, with two double beds and adequately spacious. A washbasin in room meant that you didn't have... More

We had a great stay with Marjorie & Pascal. The building had style, the room was great and the breakfasts were varied. Our hosts put up with our inadequate French. We spent 3 nights at Chez Hubert during Carnival. It is great location - quite neighborhood at the top of the hill, and central to the Old Quebec. I must start by saying that when I say Excellent - I mean the it is excellent for what you get for the cost. Not a 5 star hotel - but it... More
