When we stayed here is was low season so we were the only ones there. The staff was friendly and the food was pretty good. The rooms were also very clean. Had a great Thai foot massage. Out of the way place with not alot of tourists from the States. Kind of a nice added bonus! More

This resort caters to both Thai people and tourists, there are many things to do, visiting a Bat forest in the evening, relaxing massage at the sea breeze, swimming in clear blue water in the two private beaches, and if you are into conserving nature this resort is very environmentally friendly: one excursion is visiting a coral reef and replanting... We have been three weeks in Thailand this christmas holiday with five children in the age of 4, 14, 16, 21 and 24. As a break from Hua Hin we went for a three day trip to Koh Talu. We ordered by Sawadee.com and that was not a very good idea, as when we arrived the pir at 9.30 we... More

We stayed on Koh Talu just this week and had a very relaxing stay. The rooms in the Thai-styled villas, whilst on the small side, were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were very basic but had a shower and a toilet at least. The villas opened out onto great verandahs that had a view of the beach and the bay.... More

We absolutely love this place, the Island itself is so beautiful, white sand, wonderful snorkeling. Buffet's were good, we enjoyed the selection of thai food and even got to make our own somtum (yum!). We travelled with 3 children and while there was not a lot for them to choose from on the buffet, the management were extremely accommodating and... More

I don't know why the place is titled "Pearl Bay Beach ..." in Tripadvisor. There are two bays on the Island, which are both part of the same resort. Pearl Bay is the smaller bay with more basic accomodation, where Coral Bay or Big Bay appear to have higher quality accomodation. We stayed in hut #17 on the Coral Bay,... More

This was our second stay on Koh Talu (VIP cottage Big Bay). In the two years since our last visit, the management of guest comfort has been streamlined and is greatly improved. The new manager is very helpful, speaks good English, and will go the extra mile to ensure a happy stay. The staff are all helpful and attentive. Our... More

Spent 2 nights in a huge deluxe room with more than ample and clean facilities. Snorkeling, sunbathing and relaxing are really the things to do. The staff was very accommodating and friendly at the time. Food was average in the one and only restaurant. The most annoying fact about the island was the amount of trash in the water, on... More

We just got back from two nights and three days on Koh Talu Island Resort. We stayed in a Big Bay deluxe room. Despite some problems, my family and I (two kids, 9 and 13) loved it. It is an incredibly beautiful island with great beaches and nice facilities. I am really glad we went there. Given that, we had... More

We booked a deluxe room on Pearl Bay beach. We were the only people booked in to this beach. The rooms are extremely basic. Bed was very hard, smelly and covered in sand (not by us). No fridge and only cold running water. No information about facilities, the island or whats on etc. We were in the middle of eating... More
