Sweet little cottage. Very remote and quiet. We lit the wooden fire both nights of our stay and enjoyed making ourselves a cosy and warm home. Good location for the remarkable rocks and admirals arch.

The Mays Homestead is only small, but to see how it has been resurrected from a ruin is a credit to Parks SA. The kitchen has a modern gas cooker, or you can use the wood-burning stove instead. Small it is but not pokey. Everything you needed was at your finger tips, cooking facilities were great. We came for the quiet and closeness to all the attractions of Flinders Chase and were seduced by the cottage and the shower we didnt want to leave. rest assured we will be back.
