Home from Home! I could have walked from my bedroom straight into 86 Childsbridge Lane and been at home. Welcoming and friendly Wendy and James were perfect hosts. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order, with home made bread and preserves. Anybody looking for accommodation for the olymics could do a lot worse. The journey is surprisingly easy. More

I stayed at this accomodation as near to the hospital for a course I attended. I was pleasantly suprised by the service I received whilst staying there. The couple were really friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the breakfast was excellent! I would definately stay there again. More

We stayed here for a couple of nights in August while seeing friends in the neighbouring town of Sevenoaks. The B/B is really superb. Helpful and friendly folks, delicious breakfast with homemade marmalade and...........wait for it.............homemade bread every morning, extras in the room such as teas, coffees, sweets, you name it and superbly comfortable beds to offer you a good... The rooms are very clean and very quiet. The couple is very kind and they prepare a perfect breakfast every morning with homemade bread and homemade jam, cooked eggs, orangejuice, fresh fruitsalat, joghurt, sausage and cheese, tee and coffee ;-) More

Needed a B&B close to Sevenoaks and this one fitted the bill exactly. It is also far enough away from town to be closer to the country pubs for meals and the 'excitement' of driving on narrow country lanes. Room was very well maintained and as other reviewers have stated the breakfasts were excellent. After three weeks of processed hotel... More

A warm and friendly greeting awaits anyone who wishes to stay here and it really was like being at home - but without having to cook for yourself In a quiet village, albeit on a main road (not that you'd know it), the serenity and relaxed atmosphere was one to savour and a welcome one away from a busy work... We were very impressed with Wendy Wood B&B. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the owners could not be more attentive. The breakfast was well laid out and delicious, and set us up for the day! We only stayed for 2 nights but it really was a great stay. Would recommend to everyone. More

Had a warm welcome at Wendy Wood's after searching the area by car for a B&B. We were lucky to finf a room with Wendy and James with our own private little bathroom. We had a very good nightsleep on the beds. Tea/coffee/chocolates/bottle of water in our room every day. Breakfast was full English and extensive with cereals/jam/homemade bread. We... More

Cozy little bed & breakfast place. About 10 minutes by car to railway station. Wendy and James are so cordial and very friendly. We especially enjoyed the outstanding, gorgeous English breakfast, prepared by James, and the chat with him in the mornings. More
