“Functional but not great”

We stayed in six different hotels and b and bs on a recent walking trip in the Alentejo and this was disappointing in comparison with all the others. “Excellent, friendly and good value in beautiful small town”

I've been to this hotel several times - first, Porto Covo is a lovely fishing town set on a small bay on the Alentejo coast around 100km south of Lisbon and surrounded by unspoilt beaches stretching for miles. very clean friendly place, small pool, nicely set, wifi, well located close to town, apartment type accommodation, eating places typical of the area..nothing to write home about,breakfast in nice room but your usual fare in these places..

“Great value friendly hotel”

Really the only hotel in Porto Covo, set in small grounds and with a swimming pool (unheated), this very friendly place offers rooms or small apartments at very reasonable prices - free wifi, a games room and very helpful staff too. Breakfast also available

“Great location, and the hotel did what it says on the tin”

Porto Covo is quintinsential Portugal. A main square with a bar and restaurant. The Portugese are extremely welcoming and friendly people. Hotel at this time was full of work men. Breakfast was very average and that was at 6:30am when it had just opened.

Descent 3 star hotel in a very nice resort village. I agree with a previous post that the accomodations are slim pickings in Porto Covo, so this was a nice place to stay. Nice kitchenette in the room, which was a nice change from eating out all the time. Local Grocery cooperative (...name escapes me, sorry) was nice to visit... More

Is clean and small hotel in porto covo. Is the only choice with quality there. The rooms are quite good! The pool is very very very small. In general the hotel is confortable. Is near the center of Porto Covo. We can go there walking...
