Always excellent service, the food is fantastic, the atmosphere is authentic. All the little extras to give it the old English pub effect have paid off. Everything apart from the Man Utd scarf is perfectly acceptable! I will recommend this pub 💯 %

Wonderful recreation of a British pub, excellent food and atmosphere. Visited with my wife and we enjoyed every moment. We plan to visit again to celebrate a special event or just to enjoy the experience.

We had a great visit. The Ploughmans Lunch was great as was the Spotted Dick and the Apple & Rhubarb Crumble. My friends also loved their Chicken Pies. Uniquely British, & when we haven’t been able to travel for so long now, it’s great. Prices are a bit on the expensive side however for the experience it’s worth it.

Stopped in for drinks and snacks. Was very busy so we sat in the outside garden which was great. Had a ploughmans platter to share and some drinks. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Would definitely recommend

Dinner on a Saturday night. Not very busy. Ordered the Hagis pie and the Fox duo roast. Haggis Pie was fine, although a little bit small, but the roast was drowning in gravy, the cuts of meat were just dropped on the plate and the peas and carrots were hiding in the gravy. Overall the roast meal needs a bit more finnessing and gravy put on the side. A very, very basic meal I could cook at home. Unfortunately being an English pub the food is stogie, nothing exciting on the menu. Wouldn't bother returning.

Lovely UK atmosphere, and lovely meals, with good service. Plenty of parking, and plenty of English things to look out inside and out. Great assortment of UK beverages and large selection of food types on the menu.

Don’t go here if you have an allergy. I described it when I booked, I told the Waiter three times, still the y included it in my meal. I could have been in Hospital within hours - Staff obviously not properly trained or informed of how dangerous this can be.

While the English ambience was interesting and the service was friendly the rest of the experience was quite disappointing. The horseradish cream was bland, the chicken tenderloin was burnt, a salad cost $23 and we had to repeatedly ask for milk to have with our tea. The furnishings were in need of some freshening also. A disappointing start to our day out.

My wife and I visited on the way back from a weekend in Surfers Paradise, to home in Brisbane. I booked in advance, as their Sunday lunch had sittings of 11:30am and 1pm. I had the Sunday Roast (beef) and the wife had Toad in the Hole. Both meals were very plain, and needed seasoning. The Yorkshire Pudding was also tasteless. The guy on the next table had the battered cod, which looked good, so I will return to try that. The English beer selection (George’s Bar) wasn’t extensive, but enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back to give the place another go, as it has a nice atmosphere, and you do feel like you’re back in the Mother Country, with all the memorabilia, etc. Our young male waiter was also friendly, efficient and deserved his Tip.
