This is our favorite Hyatt kid-friendly resort. The pool area is awesome. The activities for the kids is great. The food is delicious. This hotel is about 20 miles from Austin. Unlike Hill Country and Wild Oaks Ranch, Lost Pines offers activities like river rafting and horseback riding. Get the chicken nachos! YUM! More

Weekday stay, the hotel was quiet. The hotel is set back far from the road which makes it a tranquil place to stay. The pool area is awesome, lazy river is heated and very pleasant. Checking in was a breeze. Pleasant front desk staff (day) and very informative. Rooms were big, bathrooms were exceptional, furniture was worn and dated, carpet... More

Oyr family visits each summer and it is always a wonderful trip. Usually our family five will choose a junior suite or two adjoining room. Kids are getting bigger, so we are moving toward two adjoining rooms. The highlight of the place in the day is the water park area. A lazy river, watersides, sand beach volleyball and play area,... My family and I just spent a great weekend at Hyatt Lost Pines. I had been there once before on business many years ago and didn’t really get to experience the resort. As it is close to Houston we decided to go out for a weekend getaway and weren’t disappointed. The resort is on a beautiful piece of property along... More

My boyfriend and I just returned from a relaxing weekend at the resort. We arrived Friday at lunchtime. This was a great time to arrive because the resort hadn't started its weekend rush. We went to the spa on our arrival, and I had the women's relaxation room all to myself. I really enjoyed sitting in there while my boyfriend... More

I stayed over the weekend (2108 and 2110) and have to say that I loved the staff (super friendly), was amazed by the location (great, great, great) but had our time ruined by poor planning on the part of management. I tried to book a Mothers Day Brunch over the phone three days in a row. No one would call... More

Took the wife and daughters (ages 3 and 11) for a weekend Mother's Day get away at Lost Pines. We went with a couple other families that are close friends who also have kiddos ranging in age from 2-10. It's only a 2 hour drive from West Houston. The grounds are awesome (even after the heavy rains the day before).... More

This resort is nice for familes wanting to be together, with children as it has lots of open spaces, great pools including a lazy river, smores at night, movies on the lawn etc. However it is not inexpensive--our double room was almost $400. Food service was poor-- without fail, we would wait 30-45 minutes to get a table at the... More

Overall this facility was very nice. We only stayed for one night on our way to Austin and got to enjoy the pool, lazy river and animals. We had our 8 month old with us so instead of ordering noisy room service I went to the bar and ordered ribs and fish tacos to take back to the room. Both... More
