Lovely independent hotel, well managed by very friendly owners. My only complaint was the light curtains in my room meant that sleeping once the sun was up was difficult- but that was unique to my room, we had 5 rooms booked and all the others had thick curtains.

Cosy, comfortable, clean, and always a great welcome from the owner. An amazing little hotel in a world of big bad others. I've spent many nights in big name hotels and found many faults. Have yet to find any at the Ascott. A great place to stay in Manchester!

Rather than do the usual and "modernise" by taking out all the old features they have kept the theme and its worked well.
