This guest house is local to us and on the recommendation of friends we recently visited their restaurant. The welcome we received was first class, the food was superb and the overall experience was excellent. For that reason we have now visited twice. We have tried their a la carte menu and also their fish and chip night (Friday). The... More

We have just spent three nights at The Bell, and it was all we had hoped for. The large spacious room was very clean with 2 comfy armchairs and lovely soft furnishings. It was nice and warm even in December. The conservatory restaurant [where breakfast is served] is very attractive and there is also a small well stocked bar. Breakfast... More

We stayed at the Bell Inn for 2 nights and couldn't really fault it. Bob and Sandra were very welcoming, the room was newly decorated, lovely and clean and very spacious with an excellent power shower en suite. There's also sky in the bedrooms. Breakfast was substantial with all the usual. There's also a restaurant if you'd like. Location wise... More

Just want to say a very big thank you to the owners of the Old Bell Guest House in Grimston. I stayed there for 4 nights in Feb 2011 whilst my husband had an operation at the nearby hospital. I had the large front bedroom with a very comfortable four poster bed. The room was lovely and warm even though... More

A friend and I stayed overnight at the Bell in readiness for the excellent speedway trackday at King's Lynn the next day (a 10 minute drive away). Sandra and Rob made us feel at home straight away and the room was well appointed (including ensuite shower room) and conveniently sited near to a door opening on to the street, with... More

The double ensuite has been recently refurbished to a very high standard with every facility that one could wish. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The restuarant is very reasonably priced for food and drinks and appears to be popular with local people. Food is individually cooked to order and nicely presented. There is a good ambience and the owners... More

We stopped at the Bell just for a meal and it didn't disappoint. Sandra and Bob are great hosts and serve real hearty homemade food and great wine. They also gave us lots of advice on the local area on where to go with our dog for the best walks, etc. The atmosphere is very cosy and you feel so... More

On a recent stay in the Bell Inn, Grimston, Kings Lynn, We found the room was well laid out but was very dark as using very low wattage bulbs, was very cold as heating was switched off in rooms, the sheets on our bed had dog hairs on and the duvet cover was badly stained, each evening there was a...
