“Outstanding Innkeeper”

Yolanda is an outstanding hostess--she is well-suited for this business. There is a very friendly atmosphere, and plenty of space to socialize and meet the other guests, if you wish. We also greatly appreciated the fact that it is pet-friendly, and has a secure parking spot. Breakfasts are very good, reasonably-priced. Chill Inn is the best thing Atacames has going... More

We spent several days at the Chill Inn in Atacames in October 2012-it was great! The ONLY downside: we had a car and driver from Quito, and neither the driver nor anyone we asked in town knew where it was located. Hello again it's great that most guests are happy and satisfied. As the hostel is quite small and only exists since 3 years, it is not so amazing that not everyone knows us... there are such a lot of hotels... but of course we are unique because we are the only "Hostel" in town... “Great location, but have low expectations”

I stayed here early September 2012. The hostel is in a great location--just a half block from the beach and all the bars. But, it's pretty run down. The linens are old and worn. There is no hot water and VERY low water pressure. However, the owner/operator is very friendly and very helpful. She makes you feel welcomed.

I feel very sorry for the water problem - it is fixed and we have normal pressiom again. New bed linen are on the way. Hot water is not very common here in Atacames in this price range. “Clean Rooms, Good Food, Great Host, And Great Atmosphere”

We spent one night in Atacames at the Chill Inn. The rooms were nice and clean, the kitchen made good food and was open to guests for simple use. Yolanda was a great host and gave us some good ideas on where to go and what to do. Attacames is a high energy place but the Chill Inn was relaxed... More

This place feels like a home thanks to Yolanda who will take care of you. We spent four nights here and it was such a pleasure. Yolanda helped us on everything and made us feel welcome.
