Termas Cacheuta Spa offers very poor building, dressers, restrooms. As a Spa, it offers a nice view, and 4 levels of temperature. You can only use it by paying for a mandatory pathrow through a lunch. They´ll give you just one towel, and they rent a robe. Water is good; a nice lawn and garden, but nothing special. But the... Thanks for your comment; we will take it to improve our service. I only want to clarify some aspects so that travelers also have our point of view. For what I can see, you came to spend the day with us, so your opinion is about our Thermal Spa Full Day program and not about our Hotel. The program for... More

My husband and I did a day-trip to Cacheuta, arranged through our hotel in Mendoza. I can't imagine a more spectacular setting. We spent the day just relaxing - moving from one pool to another, letting the mud bake on our skin, and enjoying the extensive buffet spread. The termas were a highlight of our honeymoon!

Not part of a tour group, we opted to visit this spa upon our return from Uspallata. It was quite tricky finding the proper road but we eventually did. Located in a river valley of the mountains just west of Mendoza, the Termas Cachueta were available for day users like ourselves: my husband, our 11 year old son, and myself.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel for one night. I'm glad that we stayed overnight because I think the day trip would have felt rushed; in fact I wish we could have stayed for two nights!! The only drawback it that the hotel is very simple. There is no air conditioning (only a ceiling fan) which made our... More

Took a day trip to enjoy the thermal spa and buffet. It was so much fun and so relaxing and beautiful vistas that we decided to go again the following week. Make sure you book your massage early as it books up quickly. I did a 1/2hr reflexology massage in the morning then pampered myself with a one hour body... More

Hey everyone, I hate to give a horrible (terrible, per TA) review, but I have to here. I am from NYC, and I was coming from BSAS today to stay for one night at the hotel. When I called to make a reservation 2 days ago, I tried to speak in spanish but the folks were speaking over my head.... More

Dear Mr, First of all I would like to apologize for all the inconveniences this misunderstanding might have caused you. I think that it is also important to let you know that I receive your comment on 29th January 2012, that is why I am replying it today and not before. It is true that we do not have an... More

Beautiful setting of hot spring pools designed to flow in different pools and reflect the rocky river flowing alongside, just 30 minutes outside Mendoza. Not over-the-top, not huge, not overwhelming the natural setting - graceful estancia style overlooking the river and a great lawn with pool. It is open to tourists for part of the day (crowds to be avoided)... More

I went to the termas with two friends while visiting Mendoza. After going to various thermal pools in Chile, I was extremely disappointed in the "termas" in Cacheuta. The large pool is exactly that, just a warm, overcrowded, concrete pool that is visibly filthy from people not showering before getting in. There's literally no elbow room in this pool. The... More

We spent a night at Termas Cacheutas, a 45 minute drive outside of Mendoza. The hotel was simple, but nice. The springs are where it's at though. Others have described them well here, so all I can do is agree. I would say that the large heated pool and the huge lawn are amazing - makes you feel like you're... More

The Termas Cacheutas is in a very nice setting, occupying the site of the former luxurious thermal complex built during Argentina's "age d'or" and destroyed by a flood... in 1934! The hotel structure, rebuilt some 20 years ago, has nothing in common with the former hotel -- it's a small (about 20 rooms), wooden structure. The rooms are simple but... More
