Very welcome accommodation after a long and arduous 75 miles fighting headwinds, on the bikes. Sorry to be the dissenting voice, but I did not think that this Hotel came up to the mark. Staff a little "cold" and unwelcoming: we had driven 200 miles and would have really welcomed some tea and snacks made and served for us. What a lovely, peaceful, clean and elegant place! An old rectory building that has recently been very tastefully redecorated/restored... our spacious rooms made you want to just sit down and watch the trees change to fall colors... or maybe write a book.
