First make sure that at least one person in your group has a good orientation sense: this hotel, in an enchanted forest, is not easy to find, not locatable by gps etc.... My wife and I just spent 4 nights at the Hacienda. To sum up our stay, our expectations were surpassed. All perfect, except perhaps the food, but otherwise all the Sheraton Haciendas can be recommended whole-heartidly. Got an upgrade without asking to a Mayan cabin.

This is really the best hotel I ever stayed in. The location is idilic, in the middle of the 'jungle'. The rooms are wonderful, the bathrooms are huge and beautiful.
