Jamie and Laura are wonderful camp managers and we love staying at Beachaven - we've been coming here for several years now and it just keeps getting better. Fantastic quiet location, great family atmosphere and beautiful beach.

We enjoyed our stay at beachaven. The facilities were brilliant, nice clean showers and toilets. Staff were great and made us feel very welcome. nice and close to the beach and extremely affordable! would definitely stay there again

Spent one night there whilst on a kayaking trip from Auckland to Tauranga. Laura and Jamie went out of their way, in any way they could to help. The cabins and other amenities were clean and excellent. They offered us use of their vehicle and trailer to get our kayaks to and from the beach. Would definitely stay there again.

This holiday park has great proximity to local amenities - the beach, and local cafe 'Flat White' were all within walking distance, with further choices a short drive (or longer walk) away. The site itself is average with reasonable toilets and kitchen, laundry etc and the woman on reception was very friendly and helpful. Our main issue was with the regular resident people who have their own vans permanently onsite. Great location, incredibly clean and tidy with all the little things taken care off. It was great to have a table to put your washing clothes on next to the washing line instead of on the ground before you hang them up for example. We camped from dec26th until jan 2nd with our son. The facilities are fantastic and any issues we had they sorted straight away. The site is close to the beach. The toilets were kept clean all the time which is a great feat considering the number of campers and the time of year.
