We had a week stay in the apple loft cottage, very roomie and clean. Chris the owner was very helpful. The location is fab and a perfect get away from the hussel and bussel of normal life only downside is you do have to drive to any normal shops etc but dogs welcome and ours had a amazing time pretending... We had a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend at Pencuke Farm last weekend. 18 family members descended on Pencuke and hired 4 yurts and Skyber Barn cottage. Everything was on hand for us, including a scrumptious cream tea. The beautifully furnished yurts, looking straight out onto rolling countryside were comfortable and spacious. The welcoming, large cottage was equipped with everything you... More

My wife and I are newbies to Glamping and weren't sure whether it would truly me the 'luxury camping' experience as it is mentioned to be so often. We went ahead and tried out the Yurt at Pencuke farms (19-21st Oct 2012) and it is truly every bit as luxurious as mentioned on the website. We reached really late at... More

Just returned from a week's stay in the large cottage of this small holiday development. Perfect distance dog walk from the beach- although we caught the bus back! Lots of space for big teenage sons to kick a ball about. Great kitchen to cook properly , garden and dining room to eat in. Completely clean and the cream tea when... More

We were lucky enough to stay at Pencuke for 3 nights at the beginning of September when we had the perfect weather! We stayed in the 'Crooklets' yurt and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Long gone are the days of trying to battle with a tent in the wind and rain the yurts are a great idea and really comfortable. Don't get... More

Just come back from our weeks stay in Apple Cottage - it was just brilliant. Beautiful location, fantastic amenities, yummy clotted cream team waiting for us on arrival. Absolutely everything had been thought of, there was even a small farm shop. Our young children played happily with Spencer the Beagle and the horses. Highly recommend this small development.

we live abroad in the sunshine and wanted a really english camping experience without the bad bits of being in a tent when its raining, not being able to get warm or dry and generally everyone being grumpy - a yurt at pencuke was PERFECT! The yurt was plenty big enough for us and 2 young kids, had a great... More

We recently stayed 5 nights in Summerleaze yurt - myself, my camping-virgin husband, and 3 kiddies aged 1, 8 and 10. We arrived to a warm welcome from Chris and Kate, (and of course Spencer the dog), and were shown around the accommodation. The yurt was stunning - spotless, spacious and welcoming, with all the essentials ready-stocked for us. Waiting... More

Just returned from a week in Roundhouse on Pencuke Farm with our toddler. The cottage was perfectly appointed including a cot and highchair and the cream tea on arrival was delicious. Our daughter loved to see all the animals on the farm and Kate and Chris were very welcoming. The weather we had was mixed but the farm is well... More

I just cannot believe how long it has taken us to write this review - perhaps we subconsciously didn't want anyone else to find out about this gem! I can honestly say that staying in Summerleaze yurt was the best family holiday we have ever had! The yurts are stunning. Proper glamping, hardwood floors, etc. They are really comfortable and...
