The place was filthy, in the middle of nowhere, approached down a dirt track through a shanty town and in poor state of repair everywhere, crawling with lizards, cockroaches and mosquitoes. We were only there two nights, but that was enough. The first night, we took their shuttle into Chiang Mai and that was nice, as you are not very close to much of anything. My wife and I stayed here for 1 week and loved every minute of it. Though it is not close to all the tourist sights the hotel offers free transport into town twice a day or go anytime for $10.00. The resort seems as it is not popular with westerners so its a great place to stay away from crowds.... More
