Clean and friendly with crisp white sheets, T.V's, Fridges and everything you need for a comfortable affordable stay, just 90 minutes from Sydney and 25 minutes from the Vineyards. Pet Friendly Rooms Available. Function Room & Conference Room available for hire for Wellness Retreat, Corporate Stay, Family Dinner - ask one of our team for more information
Arriving after reception had closed went to pick-up keys for two pre-booked rooms to find 3 packets of keys so we had to sort that out. Then found rooms were in different parts of the site which meant walking back and forth to get luggage etc. Kitchen (?) facilities, a bar fridge, microwave, electric kettle all connected to a power board, no sink, use handbasin in hall between toilet and shower doors. Only 1 roll of toilet paper. King size double bed was ok but as there is no air-con sheets and blankets were tossed off to get the benefit of the pedestal fan. Staying here made you really appreciate the drive home.

The accommodations are on expanded acreage which is inviting. The administration staff was very friendly and the price was quite attractive. The premises caters for pets. Regrettably it stopped there for me. The room is very tiny, the shower room has insufficient space to place personal items and is ‘70s style. The room has just 1 side cabinet though I don’t believe a 2nd would fit. The walls are paper thin and we had our own next-doors -yes two - “entertainment”. Then the disconcerting sound of showers and toilets flushing. Ordinarily I don’t comment on accommodation shortcomings but this I had to tell. The place has a lot of potential but needs to correct these shortfalls.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights purchased via Groupon. Very peaceful and quiet environment. Bathroom in the apartment requires additional furniture. Breakfast was good but preferred hot food. Must improve internet coverage.

We had purchased a two night stay through Groupon which was excellent value. Our room was a little tired but clean and tidy. It was very cold whilst we were visiting but the room was not air conditioned but did have an oil heater. I just thought the room could get extremely uncomfortable in summer when the temperature often soars. The grounds are huge, 200 acres in fact. There is a nice walking trail, horse who come and want a pat and wonderful trees. Sleep quality is excellent, very quiet throughout the night. Staff are very friendly and we had a lovely continental breakfast each morning in the restaurant, which was part of the package. The retreat is quite a distance from the main wineries but we chose this accommodation as we used as a base to go 4wdriving through the Watagans National Park. It was perfect for this. Sure beat camping this time of year.…

Rooms are quite fitting for my partner and I, we had a lot of privacy and it's quite peaceful there as well. Katrina is an amazing host and very friendly. We were a little sad to see how the recent weather has affected this amazing place but that won't stop us returning.

This place is incredible. The owner in particular was so kind and accomodating. I loved spending time with their 12 horses. They are so calm, friendly and loving. Great breakfast on Monday as well! Thank you for making it a memorable long weekend.

We had an amazing time in Hunter Valley retreat. Katrina is a lovely woman that made us fell very welcome. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s not a fancy place and not located in the touristic part of hunter but it’s perfect to connect with the nature, relax and breath pure air and you can easily go to the village. Strongly recommend! I can’t wait to go back!
