Self contained room/bathroom. Nicely located close to Richmond, we used as a stopping off point between Endeavour Sound and Abel Tasman. Rooms are cleverly designed so they are separated from neighbours so were exceptionally quiet. Beds were very very comfortable; bathroom and shower excellent and high quality. With husband and friends we had a fabulous time at Milcrest - our base for exploring the area and a couple of wineries ended with a bbq in the sun and more wine. We had a wonderful time staying at Milcrest Estate & exploring Nelson (in spite of the weather). Mind you the last day was a stunner which really showed off Beautiful Nelson (Plus thanks Terry for the tip to go to Mapua to chill out with a good coffee - It is now one of our favourite places). Beautiful location, excellent views, fabulous hosts and a great room. The room was very spacious with everything you'd need for a weekend away (or longer). Great wine. Good location for getting to other vineyards too. Easy to find if you're driving from the airport.

Fantastic place to stay - very welcoming and luxurious. The bed was very comfortable, lovely and warm, beautiful furnishings. Downside - It was a little bit further away from nelson than anticipated but a taxi was easy to get to go out for dinner. I would definitely stay here again. Excellent wine!

Nicely positioned to explore the Nelson area and located in relaxed and quiet surroundings amongst the vines.... Beautifully appointed accommodation, great hosts...A must-stay for discerning wine-lovers!
